We had an exceptional turnout for September's book club with 13 guests.   This is the book I chose for us to read in October.  Soooo good. We started the month of with a fun pep rally.  Here is Reagan with her buddy, Taylor. Went to see a flick with a great bunch of kids. Love this thought.  It spoke to me one day when I needed the reminder. Got these from a dear friend for my birthday.   Subbed in one night with these cute "Beehives".  They painted pictures and uplifting thoughts for kids in the hospital. Our missionary is doing so well out in the field.  He gets along great with his first companion, Elder Charles.  I can tell from his letters that they have alot in common. Brother Mack ran into them again while he was visiting and took them out to dinner.  he sent me these text pics - since my missionary never sends us any.  Boo hiss. Dude Ricky G is the BOMB! I have a whole list so I'll just name them off Dallin H.Oaks- this one was cool because he was basically pr ophesying of what is going to come of the world and how are standards cannot surrender because of political popularity. Basically I got that he is saying we have to just love the people even though they are continuously choosing to be wicked. Lynn G. Robbins basically said the same thing. If we surrender our standards that is APOSTASY. D. Todd Christofferson is a new favorite of mine. that talk was just legit in every way. The stories he tells are just awesome. I think this one was probably my favorite. You know I love Elder Holland. Bednar was FRIGGIN SICK! I wish all of our investigators would've watched that session it was amazing! M. Russell Ballard was really good too cause I just loved that analogy it made me think of the tree of life. President Eyring's talk just mad...

It isn’t as bad as you sometimes think it is. It all works out. Don’t worry. I say that to myself every morning. It will all work out. There was a weekend in June that it hit me.  It hit me HARD.  Tanner graduated from High School, Seminary, and earned his Eagle Scout- all in one week- and I realized that my boy was leaving me in a few short months.  He was leaving for two years and I was REALLY going to miss him.   You should know that I am not a very emotional person - that's Brent role in our home. Well we have officially moved into the stage where we no longer have little wee ones.  We made it official by giving this away.  Im not sure if I'm sad or immensely happy about that.  Here is Reagan and I on a lunch date.  how Brutus spent his summer vacation...  August brought reunions with old friends,  saying goodbye to one of my best friends,  lots of back to school shopping with girlfriends,  cheer camp,   and , I have to admit, some heartbreak and tears,  The girls were able to go to the temple with the youth  (and then dessert afterward).  We got this fun picture from some friends who just happened to be on Tanner's flight as he was leaving for the MTC.  Small world, I tell you.  Got this cool text from a friend who saw my girls and their friends at Hawaiian Falls one day.  This is the stuff that makes a mother's heart smile.  We ...
