a moment of silence please....


I dropped my camera the first day of school when I was taking photos of the kids. It won't work now. It was a gift from Brent last Christmas. Needless to say, he is less than thrilled with me. (It is a good thing he loves me unconditionally - I am constantly testing that whole unconditional love thing with tstupid things I do such as this.) He is taking it in to see if it can be fixed today. Needless to say, I am bummed.

I dropped my camera at the hospital in Utah over Spring Break when my nephew was born...it still worked, but took pictures with strange edges, sometimes...Maris bought me a new one a couple of weeks ago...:)

Bummer. Hopefully whatever it is it is small. I am ALWAYS doing stuff like that (I'm not kidding)! Kel has come to accept it as a normal part of life for us:)

Oh no!!! I dropped mine once and the lens got stuck. I thought I was going to have a heart attack. Luckily, the lens, with a little force, popped back out. That is the worst!! I hope it gets fixed! Good luck!

Mine broke the week before Carter was born. We took it in to get repaired ($180!) and ended up taking pictures of Carter's birth with a disposable camera. I feel your pain.

You are so darling, seriously. I just love catching up on your blog. What a FUN vacation. I was wondering where you all went when I got your vacation reply to my email. I'm so glad y'all got to do that before school started. I love all your pics and everyone looks so adorable. I'm in LOVE with your blondalicious hair color!!! Looks fabulous dahling! And can I just say...that pic of you and Brent on the very bottom of the page....WOW...you look like a supermodel! Sooo pretty! Stink! That is awful...being without a camera is like, well, being without a lung. Okay, not that serious, but still. I really hope you can get it fixed or get a new one. I take WAY too many pictures to go without a camera!!! I wouldn't know what to do with myself...

Surprise McKinley!

A week ago, McKinley's best friend, Caty, texted me and asked if she could throw McKinley a surprise birthday party on her birthday.  The girls had been challenged by their Young Women leaders to do a 10 hour project for Individual Worth and she thought it would make a great project to plan a fun party for her! She invited 14 fun friends to join in on the surprise. I wish I would have taken the time to take a picture of the cute chocolate fountain and home made cupcakes she made.  She had blown up about 20 balloons and when McKinley walked in to the house they jumped out and showered her with shredded paper. Then they went swimming.  Yes, in November and NO, they had not heated the pool. kiki and  Lexie   with Emily  and Molly  and Mallory  and Kylie H.  and Kaly   the Lloyd twins and Abbey  Megan  Kaylie W.  Michaela  and Kylie P who had celebrated her birthday with a party the night before.
