I got to go and hear her speak at BYU. I say hear because there were so many women there who have been touched by her story that I had to sit really far away behind a big pole. I couldn't hear her well, but just being in the same room was so neat. I am excited to watch the recording when it comes out. Wish you could have been there too.

A little poem I heard from John Bytheway on a BYU fireside (on BYUTV) today. Makes me stop and go "hmmmmm....." I might have another resolution to add to my growing list..... Good things to Come

I have been pretty sparse in posting due to being anxiously engaged in other ventures that required a lot of my attention.  And that is okay.  I have one more week of practicum before I wrap up grad school for good.  Not sure what happens next. Especially since yesterday Brent found himself on the receiving end of a pink slip.  It is a great example of how you can go from being one of the top salesman at the President's Circle celebration trip one year to the unemployed line. And that is okay too,  because we are prepared.  We have very few financial obligations, savings in the bank, a little income still coming in, and a lot of Faith that everything is in Heavenly Father's hands.  I feel peace. We decided first and foremost that whatever we need to do, submit, be open to doing- we would.  If that means moving from a home that has been a very comfortable fit for the last 12 years, so be it.  Our hearts aren't set on staying here. ...

What are the odds of a wasp flying into the open window of a moving car and stinging an innocent person on the eyelid? I would like to know because that is just what happened to our poor Kiki last Monday night. Here is the proof. If I didn't see it for myself I would not have believed it.
