A Carrollton 2nd Reunion, sorta

Saturday night, we went to dinner with close friends from our old ward. Actually, half of the people that came are still in C2 but the other half have moved away. It was so thrilling to see everyone. I get together with the girls for lunch pretty often but this was especially nice because all the guys were there too. We stayed for almost 3 hours talking! I think we would have stayed longer but some of us had to go pick kids up from the Stake Dance. There is nothing like good friends and these are some great ones. I feel so blessed to have had them in my life. Some of them I have known for almost 20 years. I will love them forever.

Jammi and Roger

Jammi is so fun to talk with. She is one of the best story tellers I know. It never fails that every time I am around her, she always cracks me up.

Jim and Diane

Jim is one of the smartest people I have ever met. At one point he was literally a rocket scientist. Now he is doing some other genius endeavor. Diane is probably the sweetest person I know. She has THE biggest, kindest heart. I have never heard her say anything remotely negative about anyone.

Here is Diane with Marianna

Marianna's husband is the Bishop of their ward and he had a meeting so he couldn't come. Marianna wasn't going to let that stop her from missing out on all the fun, though. I am so glad. I just love her so much. She is one of the wisest people I know. A great person to go to for advice and perspective.

Kevin and Catherine

.... (and Diane's head, I think) :O) Catherine would give you the shirt off her back. She was my steadfast workout buddy for years and I miss her so much every weekday I am at the gym all by myself.

Mike and Vali

Vali and Mike have been like parents to me. I love them so much and they helped me get through some of the toughest challenges of my life. I always tell her that when I grow up I want to be just like her. I don't think I could love these people more.

Susan and Gary

They moved into Carrollton 2nd Ward about a year before we moved out but we became fast friends. We still do alot with them. They are our "go to" couple that we can always call at the last minute to go see a movie or go to dinner.

Me and my sweetie.

How fun! All these pics bring back C2 memories for me. I can't believe it has been 7 1/2 years since I've been in C2. I bet it has changed a ton. How fun you've been able to keep in touch with everyone there!

Awww it looks like there was a ton of fun people there! My new roommate is LDS and she will be interning mostly at the McKinney Coopers. She is 23, her name is Melissa Kite, she is a really cute girl. Her dad used to play in the NBA. But anywho, she says she has a name tag, so keep an eye out for her, I can send you a picture, but I am not sure if I can do it on here, so I don't know how I would get it to you lol.
Thanks alot for inviting US!!! lol, jk
