NYC 2016

We decided to spend Spring Break 2016 in New York City and it was a blast.  We could not have ordered better weather.  A friend who was there the week before us said it was absolutely freezing when she was there but it was in the high 60s and low 70's for us.
Brady knew it was a good sign when the Boston Airport where we had a quick layover had a Vineyard Vines in it.
Sisterly love while waiting to leave on a jet plane.
By FAR, Kiki's favorite part of the trip was visiting the Guitar Center in Times Square.  That was pretty cool, I must admit.
We stayed right on times square.  Our hotel was across the street from where they were showing "The Book of Mormon" on Broadway and right next door to Chicago.
Some of the beautiful Manhattan high rises right next to Central Park.
Reagan saw Voldomort at the Met. :O)
Brady was fairly traumatized by all  the naked statues at the Metropolitan Museum of Art.
Lady Liberty was amazing up close and personal.

We took a ferry ride throughout the five Burroughs.  It was so interesting and such a beautiful way to explore the city.
I think one of our favorite spots was at the 9/11 Memorial.  That was something else.  They have done such a beautiful job of honoring the men and women who lost their lives and the first responders that worked that site for so many months.  It was so quiet and even reverent as we walked through.
of course we had to make a stop for lunch at the Carnegie Deli.
The kids were dying to find the Balto statue in Central Park so Reagan googled mapped and away we went.  He is right outside the entrance for the central park zoo, by the way.
Got to see Phantom and sat in the 2nd row.  That was a treat.
