"pee-school" for "pre-school" and playin' hookey

Tomorrow I am staying home from church. No, I am not sick. I am not in need of a "mental health" day (well, that is debatable!). I am staying home because of this book.

I have had alot of luck with the strategy/philosophy in these pages and I am putting it to the test yet again. Brady starts preschool in about 6 weeks and he has to be potty trained to go so I am under pressure.

The only hard part about this system is that you have to have an ENTIRE day to completely devote to training and that has been impossible with all my older kids home for the summer. We are way busy and he is way distracted by everything going on. So, I resort to playing hookey from church. Wish me luck ladies. I will update you on Monday as to how it went....

GOOD LUCK! I hope it is a success!

That is so awesome about Reagan!!!!! I might have to look into that swim team in a year or two for P. He is not really interested in sports but has just taken off swimming this summer:)

Good luck! I hated potty training and I have just gone thru one child thus far! It is discouraging that you are a "seasoned veteran" and you are still trying out different methods! I'd love to know how this one goes...

when it was time for Claire i read this book and a few others. we did it in a similar fashion, but took a whole we just me and her sitting in the bathroom, drinking lots of juice and soda, eating lots of salty snacks, and reading lots of books, oh and stickers!!!! Girl, you're not playing hookey, you are fulfilling your eternal calling as a mother :D

Never fear ladies. I am going to post about it step by step tomorrow. so far so good. We have gone about 8 times since 6 this morning. We have had three VERY SMALL accidents but that was in the beginning. I smell a successful potty training session coming on!!!!
