One of the reasons I LOVE life in a small town....

Homecoming Parades!!!! Only in a small town do the kids get out of school early so that they can be in and watch the high school's homecoming parade. This is our second year to join in the festivities. Brent even took the day off early. Normally we would have gone to to the game with the rest of the town but we had a church conflict that we felt was a priority. Next year we will be sure to go, though. We ran into the Alfaro's and Pattersons while we were there so here are some fun pics.

How fun! This makes me think of High School. It feels like just yesterday. It freaks me out it was 7 years ago! It looks like ya'll had a good time...what a cool excuse to miss school!

Oh, I need to find out when ours is, if it hasn't already passed. I love it that we live in a small town but we're still 40 minutes from downtown Dallas. The best of both worlds.

Wait, you spoke at Stake Conference? We want to hear about it!

I missed stake conference picking family up from the airport, but some friends were talking about how great it was and that "Sis. Argyle's talk was their favorite." Can't believe I missed it! You are awesome...and your words inspired many!

I haven't given up on the pictures. Just gave up on my idea. I need to go to ikea, and the thought hadn't even crossed my mind to look for frames. Thanks!

I told Isaac the Jonas Brothers live in Texas. He was pretty excited. Is it bad when your three year old is in love with the Jonas brothers?!
