what are the odds?

What are the odds of a wasp flying into the open window of a moving car and stinging an innocent person on the eyelid? I would like to know because that is just what happened to our poor Kiki last Monday night. Here is the proof. If I didn't see it for myself I would not have believed it.

Oh no! That's so sad. . .

I am not a fan of wasps whatsoever! We had our very first run in with them two weeks ago. I had the kids playing at the park. We were all sitting on the stairs and Isaac said,"mom there are bugs crawling under there". (under where we were sitting). I went to look and just then wasps are flying all over Ainsley. I yell at Isaac to run, grab Ainsley and run, flicking them off of her. She got stung a few times on her head, neck, and nose :( Isaac made it out with only one on his arm.

Okay enough about my family :) THIS IS YOUR BLOG! I hope she feels better soon!!!

Brooke: I can't believe Ainsley got stung that many times! Poor girl!!! I got stung by a wasp one year at Girl's camp right in the middle of the testimony meeting that they have on Friday night. My hubby was sitting next to me when I screamed and he and his counselor made me fun of me for the rest of the night for being such a big baby!!!!I can't imagine how painful that was for your sweet little girl.

poor girl. i hope her eye feels better.

that happened to my brother while he was driving a few years ago which led to him rear ending my parent's car (with their other car that he was driving). it's now a family joke he may never live down. :)

Oh no, that's awful! She'll probably be afraid to ride with the windows down from now on. I can't believe how bad her eye swelled up. Poor thing! I hope she gets better soon!

oh my gosh that is awful!!!! I once had a swarm of bees attack me when I was like 8 and about 8 or 10 got stuck in my hair and stung my head...they had to chop off all my hair in order to get them out.....but I think I would still rather have had that then get stung on the eyelid...it's just such a sensitive area!!!!
